*~* Fab Fit Fun Summer Box *~*

Hey Y’all!!

I hope everyone is doing well. I am finally feeling 100% after a sinus infection. I guess it doesn’t help when you are sick, you are still busy!

I first want to start off saying this is not a sponsored post. I purchase this Fab Fit Fun box myself. I always seen post about them and I was curious, so I bought the summer box.

I was excited to get this box because I got to pick a couple of the products for the box. It did take almost 2 weeks to get to me after they shipped the box.  The box is $49.99 and they ship 4 out a year. You can cancel your membership at any time. Depending what was in the box, this summer box ranged value ranged from $321.99-$367.99, so it is worth the price! With that said let’s jump right on it to see what was in this Fab Fit Fun Summer Box!

~ Yumi Kim Makeup Train Case ~

Retail- $58

This is one of the products I got to pick. I had the choice of this case or a beach towel. I thought the case I would use more. We are planning a summer vacation after ball season and I could use this on our family vacation. It even has a separate spot to place your brushes that has a cover. I think it is a really pretty case.

~ Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow Highlight & Contour Palette ~

Retail- $45

I was excited for this product. I was praying I was going to get the highlight and contour palette instead of the eyeshadow and liner palette. I am ready to use this. After I play with this palette for awhile I will post a review on this palette.

~ Orlando Pita Play Atmos-Shield Hair Protectant Treatment Spray ~

Retail- $34

I have already started using this product. It does make my hair feel soft when I use it. The other day I straighten my hair and I kept feeling my hair all day because it was just so soft.

~ Maji Sports Loop Resistance Band ~

Retail- $15

Honestly….this is the one product I am lest excited about. I would of rather got the wallet in the box. I guess I can use this when I find the time to start working out!

~ Jaboneria Marianella Hawaiian Black Lava Body Caviar ~

Retail- $48

This stuff stinks!! I have been meaning to use this, but I have been forgetting to grab it before I jump in the shower. This is another product I picked. I like body scrubs and figured I would give this one a shot. Hopefully, I will get passed the smell!

~ Foreo Luna ~

Retail- $89

This is a product everyone got in their box! I thought it would be bigger. I think it is cool it has an app you can download with it. This is one of the products I am going to play with and do a review for y’all!

~ Coola Face Sport SPF 50 White Tea Moisturizer ~

Retail- $32

It is that time of the year, you can never have to much sunscreen around the house. I can’t wait to test this out on Saturdays at the ball field. We are there for hours and I don’t wear makeup that day because I am out on the field and I will sweat everything off. I think it is awesome that this doubles as a moisturizer also.

~ Pier 1 Imports Marble Ring Dish ~

Retail- $14.99

I think this ring dish is cute. I never shop at Pier 1. This will look good on my makeup vanity!

I really enjoyed this fab fit fun box! It has products in it that I would of never bought myself.

Do y’all get the fab fit fun box? If so, what products did you have in yours?

*~*Mascara Showdown*~*

I am trying to get back into the routine in posting my blog post early in the mornings for my followers. This week I have been slacking and posting at night.

The other day I had this great idea when putting on a mascara I ended up hating, having a mascara show down post. What mascaras do I love in my collection, what mascaras are okay in my collection, and what mascaras do I hate.

I have high end mascaras and I have drugstore mascaras. Some of these I have done reviews on here on my blog and others I haven’t reviewed on my blog. Now lets the showdown begin!!!

*Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara*

Price: $9.49 @ Ulta

*L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara*

Price: $9.99 @ Ulta

This mascara gets some love. I LOVE this mascara and it comes in waterproof. If you love wearing false lashes, you need this mascara because you won’t need them with this mascara. The only thing I hate about this mascara, I feel that this mascara does get messy when you take it in and out of the tube. Other than that this is a great mascara.

*Ulta Beauty Amped Lashes*

Price: $10.50 @ Ulta

I have mixed feelings about this mascara. I love how it makes my lashes look and it is clump free, but the wand seems cheap. When putting it back in the tube, the wand bends and I feel like it is going to break. It is a wetter mascara. The other day I was so made at it because of the wand and when I put it on my lashes, I was like grrrr I can’t throw it away because I like how it makes my lashes look. After I use this tube I won’t repurchase it again because of the wand and it is a wetter mascara.

*MAC False Lashes Extreme Black*

Price: $24.00 @ Ulta

As y’all can tell, I received this mascara in  I sample size. I have tried this out several times and I like how soft it makes my lashes feel, but there was a huge flaw in it that changed my opinion on this mascara. It is no where near waterproof. I have dry eyes and I have to use eye drops through out the day and this mascara RUNS like crazy. It is actually going in the trash. It is not worth the price, in my opinion….BYE, BYE mascara say hello to the trash.

*L’Oreal Voluminous X Fiber Mascara*

Price: $10.99 @ Ulta

I have reviewed this mascara on here before. This is another L’Oreal mascara I am in love with. I usually do not like fiber mascaras, but I love this one. I would highly recommend this mascara.

*Tarte Lights, Camera, Action 4-1 Mascara*

Price: $23.00 @ Ulta

This is another one I got in sample size. I love the packaging on this mascara. There is something about this mascara that I don’t like. It doesn’t do the job for me at all. This is another one that will be going in the trash. It is not worth the money in my opinion. My drugstore mascaras does a better job than this one. BYE, BYE mascara, Hello trash.

*Covergirl Clump Crusher*

Price: $7.99 @ Ulta

I always buy this is waterproof because this is one I use everyday. I only use this mascara on my bottle lashes. I hate having raccoon eyes and using this mascara on my bottom lashes avoids that all together. This mascara never does me wrong. I always keep backups on hand of this mascara.

*Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara*

Price: $23.00 @ Ulta

I think this is a mascara everyone has. Who doesn’t love this mascara. I have several samples of this mascara. After using my samples, I probably wouldn’t buy this again because it does the same thing as Lash Paradise does, but I do love this mascara.

I hope y’all have enjoyed this mascara showdown! What are some of y’alls favorite mascara’s?

**Date Night Makeup**

Hey Y’all

My hubby and I FINALLY got to go out for Valentine’s Day, thanks to my wonderful sister for keeping our son. February was impossible for us to go out on a date because our son was in and out of the hospital with flu and pneumonia the whole month. We really needed the time to ourselves.

I wanted to pick a foundation that I knew that wasn’t going to make me oily and stay matte for the night. I choose to use the new Tarte Foundation (check out my review here: and I decided to use the Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette. I decided to do a cut crease for my eyes (I should of done a wing, lol).

My FAVORITE high end makeup products!! :)

Hey Y’all!!

I hope y’all are doing well. Most of my post are about drugstore affordable makeup because not everyone can afford high end makeup products, but today I wanted to share with y’all some of my favorite high end makeup products.

  • Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

OMG!! I feel that everyone loves this product. Everyone on Youtube you see using it. When I first seen it, I was like yea whatever, it is just a concealer. Boy….was I wrong, I love the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. I use it almost every day. On the days I do not want a full coverage look, I will add a little bit of moisturizer in it to thin it out and it still works great, just doesn’t give me that full coverage I am not looking for.

  • Too Faced Born This Way Foundation

When I bought this foundation, I was just looking for a different foundation. I like to switch things up a little bit. I can have a medium coverage with it or I can build it up to full coverage. It is an oil free foundation, which I love. It gives me this radiant look all day long. I would highly recommend this foundation to anyone.

  • The Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow palette

This is a palette I really truly wanted. It was always sold out and when I finally got my hands on it I was so in love. For those who know me, I can handle having one foundation, one highlighter, etc…but I LOVE eyeshadow. My eyeshadow collection, I will say is unreal. This is by far my favorite palette in my collection. You can do several different looks with just this one palette and the colors are AMAZING.

What are y’alls favorite high end products?

Tarte Shape Tape Foundation!!! (The most talked about foundation)

I know, I know….This is not a drug store foundation, but I was curious. If you haven’t heard about the Tarte Shape Tape Foundation, just google it and bam….you are going to find some mad people. Not because it is a bad foundation, but because of their shade range.Yes, I understand it, but honestly I am sick of hearing about it, they came out with more shades, it is time to get over it. Tarte is not the only brand that has a limited shade range. With that said I want to get on with my review. img_6861

This retails for $39 at Ulta or you can buy it on the Tarte website. My personal opinion go in an Ulta and match your shade because $39 is a lot to pay for a foundation. I have been wanting to get my hands on this since it launched because I love their concealer. Now, honestly I am in love with this foundation. I used a beauty blender to apply it and it when on like a dream. I was actually shocked because usually when I use a matte foundation, I usually get oily very fast. This foundation, I didn’t. I did get oily near the end of the day and then it slipped off my nose but that was the only place I had problems with. If you have been curious about this foundation, go buy it. It is worth the money (well the matte one is).

Look at yesterdays post to see a picture of me wearing it. The Rimmel London post!!
