*~Foreo Luna fofo…Is it worth the hype?? ~*

Hey Y’all!!

Happy Monday! I hope everyone has had a great weekend. I am getting  ready for a busy week ahead. We have our first tournament softball game tonight, I can’t believe softball season is almost over with.

If y’all have been on my blog y’all know I received that Foreo Luna fofo in my summer Fabfit Fun box. You see it all over Instagram and Youtube with people using it. I am here to give y’all an honest review on this product.

* Foreo Luna fofo *

Price: $89.00 @ Sephora

This is a silicone cleansing brush that has it’s own app to let you know all about your skin. Well, honestly I wouldn’t say all about your skin it will let you know how moisturized your face is basically.

This was mine yesterday, you can tell I am having a dry skin moment and it didn’t help that I accidentally used an oil control setting spray. When I received this product in my box, I was excited to start using it.

~ My Honest Review ~

I hate this thing. I have tried to clean my face with it a couple of times and I feel like it doesn’t really get the job done. Also, with the app, it will give you different readings back to back. I have played around with it and honestly I feel like it is a huge gimmick. For the price, it’s a joke. I don’t even use mine anymore. It is actually going in my bad bin for me to give away to someone that will actually get use out of it.

Have y’all tried the Foreo Luna? If so, what are y’alls thoughts?

~*~ Face Mask Showdown~*~

Hey Y’ALL!!

I decided that my mascara showdown was popular I would do a face mask showdown. I have to admit I do not have a face mask that I just love and can’t live without.

~ELF hydrating Bubble Mask~

This mask is okay. I bought this because I use ELF skincare products daily. This does hydrate the skin very well. My problem is, this makes me have a burning feeling on my face. It doesn’t give me an allergic reaction or anything, just the burning feeling is annoying.

~ Face Mask Trio ~

I honestly don’t know the brand of these mask. I do know I bought them at Wal-Mart and they came in a trio pack. It also came with an applicator, which I thought was cool. Each one is suppose to do something different, but I feel like that all do the same. They make my skin feel so smooth when I use these mask.

~ Laneige: Water Sleeping Mask ~

I got this in one of my beauty boxes. Out of all of these mask, I would say this one was my favorite. When I use this, I do not wake up with a red face. This little container I have used a lot and I still have a couple more uses. I think I will end up buying the full size once I use the rest of this one.

~ Sephora Mud Mask ~

I got this in my Sephora Play box this month and I have tested it out. I hate this mud mask. I felt like it did nothing at all and the next morning I woke up and my face was extra oily. The only thing I did different in my skincare was this mask.

What face mask’s do y’all recommend?

My First Sephora Play Box!!

Tomorrow is Friday…Finally!! I am excited because we have our first softball practice this Saturday and our preseason games start in a week and a half. We haven’t got to practice yet…YIKES!

I have been trying to find a monthly beauty subscription that I feel that is worth the money and that I actually life. I have tried Ipsy and I really didn’t like it and I have also tried allure, I felt that it was ok. I know there are many more out there for me to try. This is going to be a shocker, I have never shopped at Sephora (not even online), but I have seen people talk about the Sephora Play Box. I have heard good and bad things, but I wanted to check it out. I was so excited when I received it in the mail. I haven’t tested the products yet, but wanted to show y’all what I received and my thoughts.

If you are not familiar with the Sephora Play Box, each month has a theme (which I thought was pretty cool) and this month the theme is Insta Beauty.

I really like the bag the products come in. It also goes along with the months them Insta Beauty. It holds all 5 samples, plus the month’s bonus.

1. Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Perfector in Shade #6

I wasn’t really excited about this because I received it in my allure box last month (it was packaged different) (~*Make Up For Ever Review*~). It didn’t work out for me at all. Plus, this shade is to dark for me. I could be wrong, but they do ask your skin tone and I put fair, I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure they asked. Why send me a Warm Sand shade, like really why send it to a fair person. Anyways, I have already reviewed this on my blog and I am just giving this one to my sister in law, the color will work for her.

2. IT Cosmetics BYE BYE Pores Pressed Poreless Finish Airbrush Pressed Powder

I am excited to try this powder. It is translucent, so this product will work out for me. The lil sponge that comes with it, is cute. When I felt this powder, I wanted to go do my makeup, but I am waiting where I can do an all day wear test on it. The full size price of this is $29. I don’t know if I would pay that for a powder, it is going to have to be amazing for me to buy a full size.

3. Fresh: Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask

This is suppose to be a 5 minute facial in a jar. It is suppose to help dull, rough, and dry skin. It has seaweed in it and let me tell ya, you can smell it. I am one of these people that smells stuff when opening it and this stuff stinks. I will test it out, 5 minutes isn’t that long, hopefully the smell goes away.

4. Urban Decay Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lipgloss in the shade SPL

I would have to say this was the sample I was most excited about. I have been wanting to try the new Urban Decay lipglosses since they came out and y’all know I am on a no buying makeup this month. So, glad I received this and the smell, smells so good.

The Last and Final Sample

5. Peter Thomas Roth Skin to Die for No-Filter Mattifying Primer & Complexion Perfector

I am always looking for a good primer, this one hopefully is a great one. When I swatched it on my hand, it left my hand so soft. I will be trying this out very soon.

This Month’s Bonus Sample

MIU MIU: L’eau Rosee

I am not a big perfume type of person. I guess because I have never felt the need for it. Each month Sephora gives you a bonus sample and from what I have heard it is almost always perfume. This gives me a chance to try perfumes and find the right scent for me.

So far I do think it could be worth the $10 a month. I know it isn’t always makeup products, but always some type of beauty products.

Do any of y’all get the Sephora Play box? What are y’alls thoughts on it?
