*~Lipstick Regret~*

Hey Y’ALL

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend, had a great Mother’s Day, and your Monday going awesome. I had the best Mother’s Day, my son went shopping by himself and picked out everything….I must say he knows his mama. My husband cooked me a steak dinner and took me to the movies!

Last week I hit Walgreens, I do this once every 2 weeks to see their orange tag stuff and I ended up picking up some lipstick that was on clearance.

*Rimmel The Only On Matte Lipstick*

Price: $7.49 @ Walgreens

Sale Price: $3.29 each and it was BUy 1 Get 1 50% off

I was shocked that they had such pretty colors on clearance. Not all the colors were on clearance. When I first put this lipstick on, I was like YES…I love this lipstick and then it went downhill. It went on perfect, goes great with the Rimmel lip liners I have and wore a long time. On the first day I wore this, it started getting flaky later in the afternoon, so I thought tomorrow I will use a lip scrub. The next day, again, I was like I love this lipstick, but in the afternoon it started to flake again. I figured I would reapply some to see if that would help….Y’all it made it so much worse. I even noticed when I took a drink of something that is when it would start flaking more and more. I lipstick that was perfect at first, isn’t that perfect after you wear it.

Have y’all used this lipstick? If so did y’all have the same problems?

Please don’t forget to like my post and follow my blog.

Rimmel London **Magnif’eyes COLOUR Edition*!!

Hey Y’all!!

It seems like I have been waiting forever to try out this eyeshadow palette for y’all. Today I finally got to try it out….YAY!!! I do own the other eyeshadow palettes by Rimmel like this, but I have to say these are my favorite colors. I am SOOOOO in love <3.  img_6858

As you can tell the blue in the palette stands out. The blue and the green is the reason I bought this palette because I do not have any colors like those in my eyeshadow collection and my eyeshadow collection is HUGE!! The colors in this palette is easy to blend and they are really pigmented. img_6868

There is a down fall to these eyeshadows though…..there is fall out. I was very thankful I did my eyes first because I had to clean up after applying the eyeshadows to my my lid. They stayed on all day, but I do use an eyeshadow primer. This is a MUST buy palette in my opinion. They retail for $7.97 at Wal-Mart.

This is the look I came up with today with the palette.

Valentine’s Day Makeup Look (All Drugstore) :)

Yep, it is that time of the year again….Valentine’s Day is just next week (wow this year is flying by). I decided that I wanted to do a valentine’s day look for y’all. I debated exactly how I wanted to do it. I thought valentine’s look under $20, under $50, but then I just decided on a look that was just all drugstore. I wanted to make it where if you seen a product you like/love you could go out and get it. Plus, it was important to me to use products that were affordable (like always). Remember, you do not have to have the same products to redo this valentine’s day look. Use the products you love and that you feel comfortable with. I will list all the products, their prices, and where you can find them below.

Makeup $5 and under

Hello Everyone!!

Sorry I missed yesterday, it was a CRAZY day!!

Earlier when I was cleaning my makeup brushes and organizing my makeup I realized that some of the products I use everyday are under $5. Which is affordable for everyone.img_4988

Wet n Wild Photofocus Setting Spray

Price: $4.68 at Walmart

This is the setting spray I use every single day. I love it!! It makes your makeup last all day. I even use it to wet my eyeshadows, when I want my eyeshadows more pigmented. If you do not want to spend a lot of money on a setting spray, I recommend this.

Wet n Wild H2O Proof Eyeliner

Price: $4.87 at Walmart

I bought this eyeliner because I was looking for a good waterproof eyeliner. After trying several brands, I decided I was going to buy the cheapest I could find. I did not have high hopes for it because I usually end up looking like a raccoon at the end of the day. The first time I wore this I went to go take my makeup off and this eyeliner was hard to get off. I had to hold my makeup remover eye wipes to my eye for about a minute for this eyeliner to come off. If you see me in my pictures and I am wearing eyeliner on the top, this is the eyeliner I am wearing. It has a great tip on it also for you to do a great winged eye.

E.L.F Under Eye Setting Powder

Price: $3.00 at Walmart

I know you cannot tell by the picture what is in the E.L.F container, but it is setting powder. It is a tiny container, but it is used for your under eye so, in my opinion you do not need much anyways. I have really bad creasing under my eyes and I was using my regular powder to set under my eyes and honestly it was working just fine, but I was in the store one day and I seen this and because it was so cheap I went ahead and bought it. Every since I have had it, I use it everyday. For the price it is worth it.

Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eyeliner

Price: $4.44 at Walmart

I bought this eyeliner for the same reason I bought the Wet n Wild eyeliner, but I bought this one for my bought waterline. I like using a eyeliner pencil on the bottom. Again I wanted to find something that was not going to make me look like a raccoon by the end of the day. To be honest I hardly ever use Rimmel because I have not had a good outcome with most of their products, but this eyeliner is perfect. It stays on the waterline all day. If I know I am going to have a longer day than normal I will set it with black eyeshadow, but that is rare.

E.L.F Eyelid Primer

Price: $2.75 at Walmart

To be honest when it comes to this product, I have a love hate relationship with it. It does its job great. My eyeshadow does not crease during the day. So why do I have a love hate relationship with it? I do not like the wand on it, it seems like you cannot get a lot of product on your eye at once because of the wand. I put the product on my eyelid and I pat it out with my fingers. Every single day I use this I tell myself, I need to find me another eye primer that works great, but then at the end of the day I see what my eyehadow still looks great so why change eye primer, especially with this one being so cheap. If anyone knows any good eye primers that is reasonable priced let me know please! I would recommend this one though.

Wet n Wild Highlighting Powder

Price: $4.68 at Walmart

I have only been using this highlighter for about 2 weeks. I bought it because I see so many Vloggers talk highly about it. This highlighter is so pretty on the high points of you face. I grab this highlighter almost everyday. For the price, I would recommend it.
