*~* Peach Paradise….L’Oreal *~*

Hey Y’all!!

It’s officially hump day! I feel like this week is dragging. I think it is were I am just so wore out. I think I can sleep for days.

Well today, I have yet again more scented makeup. This makeup trend, I swear everyone is just hoping on that wagon.

*~ L’Oreal Paris Paradise Enchanted Scented Eyeshadow Palette ~*

Price: $ 11.97 @ Wal-Mart

This smells amazing, minus it isn’t as strong as the Covergirl peach punch. I am so in love with this palette. These colors are, so up my alley. These colors are so pretty, the blend well, they last all day, and they work together. This has been my go to palette this pasted week. I highly recommend this palette.

*~ L’Oreal Paradise Enchanted Fruit-Scented Blush ~*

Price: $ 10.97 @ Wal-Mart

They have these in different shades, but I got the shade bashful. This blush smells amazing also. Just like the eyeshadow, I am in love with this blush. This has been my go to blush since the beginning of the month. It is the prefect color for me. I highly recommend the blushes also.

L’Oreal has came out with great products. Because of the quality of these products, I would of bought these even if they weren’t scented.

Have y’all tried L’Oreals new products? If so what are y’alls thoughts?

~* Fox in a Box…Hard Candy Cosmetics *~

Hey Y’ALL

I hope everyone is doing great! Here everything is going wonderful, so far. I can’t believe school starts back soon. Summer has gone by so fast!!Anyways…..is it just me or is the new makeup trend is making makeup small like fruits or chocolate??

I have several different makeup brands I have been testing out that has added scent into their new releases. Some have been a fail others not so much.Today I am reviewing Fox in a Box from Hard Candy that is scented!! I don’t use Hard Candy products, but these caught my eye when I was in Wal-Mart shopping around. I think there are 5 total, but I got 4 boxes. I got 2 blushes and 2 highlighters.

img_8978

The package really caught my eye! They are so cute. It reminds me on pinup models.

First, before I start the product review I just want to point out that these don’t smell that amazing. I hate the smells. I feel like they could of done better with the scents! The products their self are okay. They highlighter gives a nice glow that is just right, you can see it there, but it isn’t blinding. I think out of the highlighters and the blushes, I would use the highlighters more. The blush is nice to, but I am not a fan of baked blushes…I like my blush matte. They did look nice on the skin, but you do have to work at building them up.

~* Chocolate Scented Lipstick *~

Hey Y’ALL

Happy Weekend!! I hope everyone is having a great one!

Okay is it just me or is makeup companies taking scented makeup to the extreme. This month I have a lot of scented makeup to review. Today, I am bring y’all chocolate scented and flavored lipstick.

~ L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro Matte Les Chocolats Scented Lipstick ~

Price: $7.97 @ Wal-Mart

Let me tell y’all, I was sooooo excited when I seen these were coming out. I love the infallible lipsticks and I thought it would was a great ideal to make them chocolate scented. They really smell like chocolate. I do feel like the color range is dark and more on the fall color side.

As y’all can see I ended up picking up 2 different shades! I just got the shades I thought I would wear. This product was a let down!! I don’t know if they changed their formula or what, but I put these on and within minutes it was flaking off my lips. It looked horrible. I know it is bad when my husband says something and he did that day. He thought something was wrong with my lips. I feel that they could of kept the old formula and made them smell like chocolate. I wouldn’t recommend these at all.

Have y’all tried these new lipsticks? If so, what are y’alls thoughts?

~*~ Maybelline Superstay Stick Foundation ~*~

Hey Y’all!!

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July. We are still recovering. We spent the day on the water and yesterday we had to drive 3 hours away to pick up a Jeep we decided to buy. I am hoping today is spent relaxing.

I was so excited when Maybelline came out with their 24 hours Superstay foundation. I tested it and I have a love hate relationship with it. Maybelline has recently came out with the Superstay stick foundation. I have only used one other stick foundation and that was the Maybelline Fit Me foundation stick and I hated it, but I wanted to give this foundation stick a go.

img_8917

Price: $9.98 @ Wal-Mart

I got three different shades because it says you can conceal and contour with these also. I wanted to test to see if it actually worked with concealing and contouring. I have to say I like this foundation, it does okay. It looks good on the skin. I love using a sponge, but with this foundation, I use a brush. It blends so much better with a brush. You do have to add more I feel to get at least a medium coverage.

With using this to conceal and contour, I would pass. I tried to conceal my undereye and let me tell you, it creased so badly, it looked so awful. The contouring was okay, but I like powder to contour.

I feel that there is a huge down side to this foundation . As you can see below you do not get a lot of product. Also, the sponge on it, does not work at all. I feel that they would of reduced the price, if they left out the sponge or not put the sponge on and gave more product.

All and all, if you are using this foundation as a foundation, it is worth it. I wouldn’t use it to conceal or contour. It does last in the heat, which I was surprised. I would recommend this product.

Have y’all used this new foundation? If so, what are y’alls thoughts?

*~ Walgreens Clearance ~*

Hey Y’ALL !!!

I have to say when I went to Walgreens for this clearance trip, it was a let down. I usually just go to Walgreens to look for the orange stickers. You never know what they are going to have on clearance. I try to go at least a couple times a month. Even though it was a let down I did find some things on clearance. img_8921All that caught my attention was these 4 items! Like I said it was a total bust, but I did get some deals!

* L’Oreal Infallible Paints Blush Palette *

Price: $16.99

Clearance Price: $8.49

I think this is the best deal I got. Once I seen this was on clearance I did grab it. It has 4 different blush colors in it. I can’t wait to try out these blushes.

* Revlon Colorstay Lipstick *

Price: $10.79

Clearance: $5.49

As you can see I ended up with 2 of these. They only had certain colors on sale. I have already tried them out and I know why they were on clearance. These feel really thick on your lips and not comfortable at all. It also bunches up in spots and looks patchy. I wouldn’t recommend these lipsticks, even at the clearance price.

* Covergirl Lipstick *

Price: $8.29

Clearance: $2.19

Also, on these there were only certain colors on clearance. I have yet tried this out yet. I will be testing this one out in the next couple of days! What makeup clearance items have y’all found at Walgreens or at other stores? Please don’t forget to like this post and follow my blog! Thanks for reading, sig

*~* Maybelline Lemonade Craze Eyeshadow Palette *~*

Hey Y’all !!

I have to tell you I am VERY excited to do this review! I have looked for this product in stores for a long time. I am not one of these that likes ordering eyeshadow palettes online because I want to see them in person before I buy them. I went to Wal-Mart one night and bam….there was the Maybelline Lemonade Craze eyeshadow palette.

* Maybelline Lemonade Craze *

Price: $10.98

I was really afraid because I wanted this palette so bad that it wouldn’t be that great. I have read some other reviews about this palette, but I wanted this palette for myself. I have to say I am in LOVE with this palette.  I always use a glitter primer for any shimmer shades, I haven’t tried to use them by themselves. You can build up these colors and you can do so many looks with this palette. We are planning a vacation and I am 99.9% sure this is going to be the palette I pack for vacation. These colors last all day also. If you use an eye primer they won’t crease at all. If you love eyeshadow like I do, this is a MUST  have eyeshadow palette to go in your collection.

~* Covergirl Chocolate *~

Hey Y’all !!!

I am finally around to doing my review on the Covergirl Chocolate scented makeup. Last month I did a review on the Covergirl Peach scented makeup (~*~ Covergirl….It smells like Peach ~*~). I think scented makeup in the drugstore is awesome. it use to be only a high end makeup thing and now it isn’t.

~ Covergirl Chocolate Scented Eyeshadow Palette ~

Price: $9.96 @ Wal-Mart

If you have been following my blog, you know I love eyeshadow. The one thing that I feel has to look good is my eyeshadow, with this palette…my eyeshadow looked straight up like mud. All these colors are to dark to work together.

~ Covergirl Chocolate Highlight and Contour Palette~

Price: $9.96

img_8916

I am fair skin, but I do have a lil color this summer, but these highlights are to dark for me! These highlight colors will be great as a lid color with the eyeshadow palette. I don’t really like the contour shade also. It is to dark to be a contour shade for me.

This covergirl chocolate was very disappointing to me. I loved their peach punch eyeshadow and highlight. If you want to try their new line I would pass up on the chocolate.

Have y’all tried the new covergirl line? If so, what are y’alls thoughts?

*~* Sephora Play: June *~*

Hey Y’ALL!!

I finally got my Sephora Play box in for the month of June! Maybe it is just me, but it seemed like it took forever this month to get to me.

If y’all don’t get Sephora Play, it is a beauty box that is $10 a month. Each month has a theme and this month the theme is Summer Nights. I am usually happy with my Sephora Play box, I wanna say this is my 4th box. This month I am real disappointed in my box. Let’s get  started going through the products and see why I am disappointed in my box!

img_9003

*~ Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation ~*

This product didn’t work for me. I don’t remember if I got it in another Sephora Play box or if I got it in one of me Allure boxes when I was getting Allure. I didn’t like this foundation at all. Actually the sample I have from last time is in my bad makeup bin. This also looks to dark for me. I will try it out again soon because I am going to do a blog post next month using the makeup in my bad makeup bin.

*~ Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick ~*

I actually already own this product. When Too Faced was having a huge sale I got some of these, plus I got a sample size like this when I ordered one of their eyeshadow palettes. Plus, to me this is more of a fall color.

*~ Verb Sea Spray ~*

I don’t use products like this at all. I will test it out and see if I like it, but I never use texture spray’s in my hair.

*~ Clinique: Take Off the Day Makeup Remover ~*

I think out of all the products this month, this is the one I am wanting to try. I have never used any of their makeup remover. This one is for the eyes and I am always trying to find a good makeup remover for my waterproof mascara and when I use glitter glue.

*~ Murad: Nutrient- Charged Water Gel *~

I haven’t tried anything from this brand, but I am up to trying this product. I am always looking for skincare products. it says that it hydrates and locks in moisture and it plumps skin. To me that sounds amazing especially when my skin goes through those dry stages.

Each month you get a bonus item in your Sephora Play Box and it is usually perfume, which I enjoy getting, but this month it was different.

~* Melting Lip Powder *~

Hey Y’all!!

Last month in my Allure box I received this melting lip powder from CLE Cosmetics. I was shocked because it was a full size product. I have never used a lip powder before, so I was excited to try this out. Honestly, I wasn’t planning on writing a review on this product, but after using it I figure that I just had to write this review.

img_8882

As you can tell this is a very pretty color. I was wondering how this product was going to work because it is literally powder. CLE cosmetics website states that this product is: waterproof, smudge-proof, long lasting, and it has vitamin E in it.

First, this product was cool when you put it on. It really just melts on your lips. I thought that was pretty awesome. I think that is the only thing I like about this lip product. When put it on and I put my lips together, this lip product clumps up. It looks like wet powder and it continues to turn back into a powder. It just doesn’t stay on your lips. It looked so awful that I took it right off my lips. This product retails for $20 and I wouldn’t even pay $5 for it.

Have any of y’all ever used this product before? How did it work for y’all?

~* Covergirl TruBlend Matte Made Liquid Foundation *~

Hey Y’all!!

I hope everyone is doing great. I know here I am so happy that this week is going to be semi relaxing. I am use to my house being full of kids all week and starting this week my nieces and nephews will only be over a couple times a week.

I have heard so much about this new Covergirl TruBlend Matte foundation. I have seen great reviews and I have seen bad reviews. I decided that I wanted to test it out myself. When I started considering testing this out, what made me decide to test it out was, I hardly have any matte foundation. It is the summer time and I need to find a good matte foundation were I am not looking all greasy all the time, with me sweating, my oils coming through, and a dewy foundation.

~ Covergirl TruBlend Matte Foundation ~

Price: $8.44 @ Wal-Mart

img_8865

I ended up with 2 different shades because I went a shade lighter because most of the reviews said that this foundation oxidizes, so I went a shade lighter. Well, it didn’t oxidize on me. I had to go back and get my correct shade. I decided to not to return the first one because I can use it in the colder months.

** Covergirl Claims **

  • 12 Hour Comfort Matte
  • Pore Minimizing
  • Oil Control
  • Transfer Resistant

It applied beautifully with a sponge. I never use a brush with my foundation, I am a sponge type of a girl. This foundation is also very buildable foundation. This foundation is going to give you a medium to full coverage.

I have to hand it to Covergirl, this foundation held up. When I wore this foundation, it was put to the test. It was over 90 degrees outside, my car overheated when I went into town, so I was sweating like crazy, and then we had a softball game that night. I hardly have any matte foundation because usually my oils come thru and bam, it isn’t a matte foundation anymore. This foundation actually controlled my oil!! I didn’t have to blot during the day, which I always have to do. I put this on around 9 am and I was going till close to midnight that day. Before the ball game, which was at 7 pm the foundation still looked okay. It was rubbing off of my nose, but that was about it. Before I took my makeup off around 11, I will tell you the foundation was done. It looked awful, but it was over the 12 hour mark. I think this foundation does great, but I don’t think it will last and look flawless for 12 hours, but it will look okay. I highly recommend this foundation.

Have y’all tried this new foundation? If so, tell me y’alls thoughts on it because I have heard so many mixed reviews, but it worked out great for me.
